Captain's Log #4
I think the filmmaker created the film because he is really passionate about the cause. During the movie you see all about his views and thoughts on copyright. He brings up artists that he admires for the artists talents and abilities such as Girl talk, and Dan O’Neill. I think the filmmaker made this film so that people could see the good side about illegal downloading and the benefits. He shows that people are not just downloading to rip off the artist, or steal their beats. They want to be able to listen to that artist and also tell their friends about that group. They just don’t want to pay over the amount they want to for it. There are some artists that are creating great new music by using beats from other artists that isn't theirs. I agree with the filmmaker that you shouldn't have to pay for online music downloads if you don't try to say you made it.

Captain's Log #3
"Citizen Kane" the "greatest film ever" is still in my mind a okay film but to say it is the greatest film is a little difficult to believe. Back in 1941 when Citizen Kane was showed in theaters it could of been the greatest back then but not today. I Think it is a okay film because I personally don't like black and white. I also found it kinda long and a little boring But The good parts I like about the film that the actors where good and also I liked the special effects they used in some scenes like the table they split in half then put it back together once the camera went through it. But in conclusion I don't think it is one of the best films but probable once was.

Captian's Log #2
Justin Bieber - Baby
Reality in this video is presented in a not so ordinary way. I think it was presented in that way because its a cooler way to get a girl is by dancing and singing, plus they are not wearing bowling shoes when their bowling.
The video uses Construct reality because everyone looks super fly, as well as good dancers and the girl falls for him at the end because hes such a great dancer and singer.
In the music video the creeds or values are if you sing and dance to a lovely lady your more then likely to get the girl.
This video would appeal to teenagers by the slick moves he makes and by all the nice clothing in the video.
Overall I think this music video is not the greatest due to it has nothing really to do with the song lyrics and that its not really realistic. Maybe if they had bowling shoes on when bowling it would be more realistic...

Captain's #1
1) I believe media is pretty important in my life because with out media I would not know what was happening in the world. Also without media the world would be pretty boring due to there would be no television, video games, movies or even books.
2) The Internet is the most important type of media to me because the Internet has everything you really need. I use the Internet mostly for social networking and researching work. The second most important type of media is probable books and newspapers so I can research and see whats going on in the city. Thirdly television is pretty important as well. Its pretty important because to can learn stuff and its good for when your bored.
3) My thoughts on our modern popular culture is that its awesome. I like some of the new technology that helps us communicates in different ways because its pretty neat. I am a fan of all the of all the elements of popular culture. I use media for mostly for fun and for research.
4) I don't have a favourite TV show but I like to watch The Simpsons and Jackass . I like to watch these shows because they are funny and entertaining. My favourite Movie is Step Brothers because Will Ferrell and John C Reilly are hilarious in it. I don't have a favourite album but I like all types of music really, except for country and classical. My favourite video games are NHL 11 and COD. I just like hockey games and shooting games so that's why there my favourite. And my favourite book is The Adventure's Of Tom Sawyer because it was the first book I really read and it was really good.
